News here - a lot of changes!
Closed my studio in Edmonton, KY
Moved to Greenwood, SC
Working in the Continuing Education Department at Lander University.
Became a Grandmother for the first time on Aug 26!
I went through a lot of ups and downs with all these changes. Here in South Carolina because my 88 year old Dad needs family nearby. Had to close my studio/gallery because of the move - I miss that. But, we bought a nice little ranch style house here in Greenwood with a huge outbuilding that I plan to transform into a studio someday. Right now I've made the livingroom my studio (the kitchen/greatroom is where we have our TV and where we spend most of our time). Had to find a job to help pay the bills - I am lovin' working here at Lander! My Grand daughter lives in Dayton, OH - we met her on Sept 5th finally!

- I am an artist specializing in realistic artwork in oil paint and acrylics. I've been painting for over 30 years. Those who see my work are interested to learn that I taught myself through private study. I like to explore the challenges found in all types of subjects, such as portraits, figures, landscapes, still life, and wildlife or animals. Working in my studio I have produced artwork in all these subjects, many of which were commissioned pieces for clients. In the past couple of years I've taken my paints out of the studio and into the great outdoors to paint "Plein Air" landscapes. For 6 years I painted murals and decorative elements in Wisconsin. Clients hired me to produce one-of-kind artwork on the surfaces of their homes and businesses. It was a fun, challenging, and rewarding career. In 2006 my husband & I moved to South Central Kentucky and my artistic focus has shifted back to studio work and plein air. I am thrilled with all the potential subjects in and around my new environment. 2008 - and we moved again! To South Carolina. How things change!
